1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing or using the Tasawwuf App or website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. Your use of an App Store version is also subject to the applicable store's terms.

2. Description of the Service

Tasawwuf is a free Islamic content service offering audio and video bayans, lecture series, events, announcements and the Shajra Sharif in English and Urdu, associated with Shaykh Zulfiqar Ahmad Naqshbandi. Content can be browsed as a guest; optional accounts and push notifications may be available. The service does not currently include paid subscriptions, in-app purchases or advertising.

3. Eligibility and Children

The service is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. If you are not legally able to agree to these Terms, you may use the service only with the involvement and permission of a parent or guardian.

4. Licence to Use the App

You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the App for lawful personal, non-commercial, religious and educational purposes, subject to these Terms.

5. Intellectual Property

Bayans, lectures, recordings, Shajra text, logos, designs and other content are owned by Tasawwuf, Shaykh Zulfiqar Ahmad Naqshbandi or the relevant licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Unless permission is given, you may not copy, redistribute, re-upload, sell, commercially exploit or create derivative works from the content. Personal listening and sharing of official links are permitted.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use the service for unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purposes;
  • submit spam, abusive, defamatory, misleading or unlawful material;
  • attempt to bypass security, gain unauthorised access or disrupt service;
  • scrape, reverse-engineer or overload the service;
  • impersonate another person or infringe another person's rights; or
  • misrepresent the content or the Shaykh's teachings.

Access may be restricted or suspended when these rules are violated.

7. User Accounts and Deletion

Accounts are optional. You are responsible for providing accurate information, protecting your credentials and notifying us of suspected unauthorised access. You may permanently delete your account by opening the App's device drawer and tapping Delete Account. You may also request deletion through the Privacy Policy or Support page.

8. Feedback and User Submissions

Feedback and suggestions are voluntary. You grant permission to use submitted feedback to operate and improve the service. You must not submit material that is unlawful, confidential without permission, abusive or infringing.

9. External Links and Content

The service may link to or display content hosted by external platforms. Tasawwuf does not control every external website or service and is not responsible for its content, availability, security or terms. Review the terms and privacy information of any external service you choose to use.

10. Service Availability and Changes

Features, content and availability may change over time. We may correct, update, remove or discontinue content or functionality, including to maintain security or comply with legal requirements. We do not guarantee that the service will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

11. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the service and content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or uninterrupted availability. Religious and educational content is provided for general spiritual benefit and is not professional legal, medical or financial advice.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tasawwuf and its contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

13. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses or expenses arising from your unlawful misuse of the service, your violation of these Terms or your infringement of another person's rights.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for a serious or repeated breach of these Terms. You may stop using the service or delete your account at any time. Provisions concerning intellectual property, disclaimers and liability continue where their nature requires it.

15. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated when the service or applicable requirements change. Updates will be posted here with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
